What a fantastic turnout including current and former staff & students for the screening of ‘Mule’ at the Ritzy cinema this morning. We are so proud of all involved in this community project, a testament to the values of St Michael’s and the creativity of Mr Pillai and his team.
Today we celebrate the Feast of St Peter&St Paul, the rocks on which the church was built. Though they were very different characters we celebrate their joint efforts to transmit the faith, reminded that Christian unity is a unity of diversity. St Peter and St Paul, pray for us.
This morning there are over 200 people coming to the Ritzy cinema in Brixton for a 2nd official screening of ‘Mule’ a film made by Little Tree Productions and St Michael’s Catholic College, with current and former students and staff as cast and crew! http://www.mulefilm.com
St Michael's students and staff had a fantastic time at the Year 11 Prom yesterday evening. Thanks to all those who supported with the organisation of the event, especially Mr Kelly, Ms Hayden, Mr Ferguson and the St Michael's premises and catering teams.
Thanks to everyone's hard work and the students excellent behaviour and love of dancing the evening went off without a hitch and was a great celebration for the Year 11s and their teachers and support staff.
Today 7MA participated in Mass with Fr Keith. Prayers were offered for the Feast of St Peter and St Paul tomorrow and also for our All are Welcome activities being led today by Diversity Ambassadors, reminding us that everyone is loved by God, has dignity and deserves respect.
The dance floor is packed at the Year 11 Prom this evening especially when the St Michael’s classic prom song is playing!
The St Michael’s Year 11 Prom 2024 is underway, our students will be enjoying a special menu, dancing and a photo booth as part of the celebrations this evening!
Preparations are underway for the Year 11 Prom 2024, we can't wait to celebrate with the students this evening!
