Arrangements for the End of Term Thursday 17th December 2020
In consultation with other local schools and the schools’ police team final decisions have been taken about the timings for the last day of term for students which is Thursday 17th December.
These timings ensure that our dismissal times do not conflict with neighbouring schools.
All students must go straight home once dismissed, given the Covid-19 pandemic it is not acceptable for them to go to local shops or fast food outlets.
Please remind your child of the importance of this and of not hanging around in public places in groups of more than 6, they should also not be mixing inside other people’s homes.
Arrangements for the Last day of term Thursday 17th December
- Christmas jumper day Thursday 17th December- non uniform day and outfits should include some item of Christmas themed clothing. Food to the value of £1 pound to be brought in and collected for local pensioners’ charity.
- Students are reminded that jackets/coats, including leather jackets etc. and hats (with the exception of a Christmas hat) are not allowed to be worn inside the building so they need to have warm enough/suitable clothes on underneath any jackets/coats.
Clothing also needs to be modest and suitable for school e.g. no bare midriffs, flesh on display, inappropriate slogans etc
