St Michael’s Catholic College is delighted to celebrate with all Year 13 students who have received their results today and are rightly enjoying their success.

Despite the confusion and disruption surrounding recent announcements, the college is able to applaud outstanding performances from a large number of students and is thrilled that the overwhelming majority of students will be taking up University places at Institutions and in subjects of their choice. In September, students from St Michael’s will be starting courses at King’s College, Durham, Queen Mary’s, Loughborough, Manchester, Warwick, Bath and Brunel universities, for example to study subjects from Economics to English Literature, Architecture, Geography, Psychology, Business and International Relations.

Grace Oreyomi (A, A, A), off to study International Business at King’s said that she was the happiest that she’s ever been, while Nneoma Anokam A (A, A, B) who will be taking up her place to study Economics at Warwick said ‘It’s my first choice – I’m so happy!’Devonté Sackitey (A*, A, B) who will now be able to begin his degree course in Geography at Kings College said ‘relieved is the best way to describe it. I feel as if I have spent five months just waiting for these results and now I can feel excitement and happiness.’

We are proud of all of our students, congratulate them on the outcomes of their exams and wish them well for the future.
